Autism Community Services

Mission:  Autism Community Services mission is to empower families and educate the community about Autism Spectrum Disorders.  By supporting families of children on the spectrum and their providers, we will create a stronger community, so each child can have the opportunity to reach his/her highest potential.

Case management services are available to families in Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties with children up to 20 years of age who have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.  Consultation is provided to schools and community groups who express an interest in learning more about autism and related disorders. Services are provided at no cost to families. Monthly support groups are held. An extensive resource lending library is available.

For more information about Autism Community Services or the support group, call 207-973-3642 or toll-free 1-800-215-4942.

Funding is provided by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services..
