Autism Community Services
The Penquis Autism Community Services mission is to empower families and educate the community about Autism Spectrum Disorders.
By supporting families of children on the spectrum and their providers, we will create a stronger community, so each child can have the opportunity to reach his/her highest potential.
Case management services are available to families in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties with children up to 20 years of age who have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. Information is provided to schools as well as community groups who express an interest in learning more about autism. Services are provided at no cost to families.
Penquis Autism Community Services also offers monthly support groups, a resource lending library and social opportunities for children on the Autism Spectrum.
If you would like to make a referral, learn more about any of our services or the dates and times of support groups and activities, please contact us at 973-3593 or1-800-215-4942 ext. 3593.
