Manage and monitor a shared database (empowOR)
Maine Community Action Partnership (MeCAP), a statewide organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of Maine people by advocating for, promoting and supporting the work of the Maine community action agencies, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to work as a full-time (40 hours/week; benefit eligible) Data Manager. This position manages and monitors the shared database (empowOR) infrastructure.
Location: Augusta, Maine
The successful candidate will provide trainings and technical assistance to all Whole Family Approach and related computer operators. They are responsible for developing training materials and procedures; developing and/or managing empowOR functionality; preparing and issuing reports; coordinating new functions and creating user friendly systems for cross-agency standardization. The candidate can expect related assignments relative to technology applications in the network when needed.
The successful candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Communications or related area with 3-5 years of experience is preferred. The successful candidate will have at least two years of work experience providing technical Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) administration and support. Experience in collecting and analyzing data; training staff in person and remotely and math/computational skills. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of current Microsoft Office, Windows XP SP2 and Vista.
MeCAP is supported through its fiscal agent, Penquis, and therefore, you will be hired as an employee of Penquis. The starting rate of pay for the Data Manager position is $54,653 per year and additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience.
Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must comply with MeCAP/Penquis background check requirements with satisfactory results as outlined in current contract provisions.
