Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis and Knox counties for over 50 years, is seeking candidates to fill a(27.5 hours a week/ benefit eligible) Direct Care Professional position in our Community Support program. This position is Monday through Friday 9:45am to 3:15pm.
Located: Dover-Foxcroft, Maine

Come work in our Community Supports program where you get to connect active adults with their local community through volunteerism, daily outings, art classes, and field trips. Participants focus on health, wellness, and personal growth and development while building natural supports with community members.
Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, driver’s license in good standing and must be comfortable using a computer to document in electronic medical records system, use e-mail and internet.
The starting rate of pay for the Direct Care Professional – Community Support Program position is $15.48 per hour and additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience.
Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must comply with Penquis background check requirements with satisfactory results as outlined in current contract provisions.
