Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Knox counties for 50 years is currently seeking a full-time (40 hours/week; benefits eligible) IT Help Desk Analyst to fill a vacancy within our IT team.

Located: Bangor, Maine

The successful candidate will manage the work order ticketing systems for the IT and Facilities departments. The Help Desk Analyst will work with users to resolve day-to-day IT related issues, escalating problems as necessary to the appropriate Systems Administrator. The Help Desk Analyst will assist the IT Director and Facilities and Grounds Director with purchase orders and invoice submissions.

The Help Desk Analyst will ensure computer programs and systems are tested, maintained, and monitored and make sure computer systems, VOIP phones, mobile devices, and printers/scanners within the organization are inventoried accurately.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years demonstrated work experience in a Windows Active Directory environment and providing helpdesk administration and support. Excellent technical and organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.

The starting rate of pay for the Help Desk Analyst position is $17.81 per hour and additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience.

Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must comply with Penquis background check requirements with satisfactory results as outlined in current contract provisions.
