To be eligible, those applying for assistance need to have proof of children in the home–this can be through official documentation such as a letter from the school, government assistance letters, paper from a Dr.’s office, current lease listing current members living in the home.
The community can support the Salvation Army by our Angel Tree Program, which collects toys from area companies and individuals to meet the needs of families in our community.
We are also looking for companies willing to participate in our Adopt-A-Family program as well as for food donations to assist with Christmas food baskets. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

The Christmas Is For Kids(CIFK) program is a referral based program with several local agencies (see list below). To be eligible for CIFK, the child must be referred and enrolled by a partnering agency and meet the income guidelines and not be enrolled in another holiday giving program. If a child is receiving case management services through one the participating agencies, they can speak with their case manager about enrollment in the CIFK program. The deadline for Case Managers to enroll clients in this program is Nov. 20th. Enrollment is limited
