Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis and Knox counties for over 50 years, is recruiting for the above position in its Charlotte White Support Services (CWSS) Department.  Based in Dover-Foxcroft with the ability to work out of the Bangor area, this person works in collaboration with each client’s team in developing treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, safety plans, and other necessary documents for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.  This person is responsible for completing paperwork in the agencies electronic medical record, coordinating and attending meetings, writing plans and staff guidelines and inputting entries into the state’s EIS system. 

Candidates interested in this position must have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and writing skills, good interpersonal skills, be organized, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  Valid Maine driver’s license and reliable insured transportation required.

Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must have background check results that are satisfactory to Penquis and indicate no previous or current record of involvement with child abuse, neglect or exploitation and no disqualifying criminal record or motor vehicle record as outlined in current contract provisions.  Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours based on program needs.
