Penquis offers free one-on-one consultation and advising to help create a business plan for a new business or refine one that could use some analytical help. We provide technical assistance for starting a business, business strategy, new product launches, improved marketing, financial questions, financing readiness, and many other business issues.
We understand that the business plan is a living document, an essential aspect of building or growing a business. We bring another set of eyes to your existing operation or to your ideas for a new enterprise. Our services help stimulate economic activity and grow employment. We generally work with businesses with ten employees or fewer, many of whom are self-employed, and our advisory services are free to Maine businesses, both new and existing. Our funding comes from a variety of sources, including Federal, State, and local funds, including banks and foundations.
