Job Overview

Are you looking to join a fun energetic team? We are hiring a Cook at our Rockland preschool program. As the cook, you are planning and preparing daily and weekly menus in accordance with CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) guidelines. It offers a great opportunity for creativity in homestyle cooking and baking, helping to encourage children to explore and enjoy fresh, nutritious foods. While prior experience is preferred, we’re willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and snacks daily.
• Weekly grocery shopping and inventory management.
• Completing menu planning and production reports.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area daily.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Be neat, clean and organized.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must comply with Penquis background check requirements with satisfactory results as outlined in current contract provisions.
