Central Maine Power Credit
The Central Maine Power Credit program helps eligible CMP customers obtain credit for new lines and poles. Eligibility is based on income guidelines, MaineHousing requirements, prior CMP Assistance Credit use, and whether the property is the applicant’s primary residence.
This program assists income-eligible Central Maine Power (CMP) customers in obtaining credit for new lines and poles.
Eligibility
To be eligible, individuals must:
- Meet certain income guidelines and Maine State Housing Authority requirements
- Not have received CMP’s Assistance Credit in the previous 3 years
- Use the property receiving the credit as the applicant’s primary residence
