Full-Day Childcare
Full-Day Childcare offers wrap-around child care so children can receive Early Head Start or Head Start benefits and a full day of care.
For parents who are working or going to school and need full-time child care, Penquis offers full-day wraparound services at several Child Development Center locations. This program allows children to receive the benefits of Early Head Start and Head Start, while also receiving a full day of child care.
Child Care Costs and Financial Assistance
Penquis currently charges Maine's market rate for full-day child care. Rates vary based on factors such as the child's age and Child Development Center location.
Families who qualify may receive assistance with weekly child care costs through Maine's Child Care Affordability Program (CCAP), which provides a sliding fee scale for eligible families. Learn more about Maine's Child Care Affordability Program.
