Outpatient Counseling
Outpatient Counseling provides clinical counseling services for adults, children, and families. Services may include assessment, diagnosis, individual counseling, family counseling, and integrated treatment planning for eligible MaineCare members.
Outpatient Counseling provides clinical counseling services for adults, children, and families. Services are designed to help improve functioning, address symptoms, relieve excess stress, and support positive growth, independence, and well-being.
Services are delivered through planned clinical interaction using evaluation and intervention approaches that may include psychological, physiological, and social concepts, techniques, and processes.
Services May Include
- Comprehensive assessment.
- Diagnosis, including co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder diagnoses when applicable.
- Individual counseling.
- Family counseling.
- Involvement of affected others when appropriate as part of the treatment process.
- Integrated treatment planning based on individual or family needs.
Eligibility
Penquis is currently only able to accept MaineCare insurance for Outpatient Counseling services.
