Ave Burke is 13 years old, from Brewer Maine. She has been donating to the Penquis We’ve Got Your Back program since she was 6 years old. The first year she decided to ask her friends to donate a backpack instead of bringing her a birthday gift. This selfless act has continued and grown over the years to help hundreds of children start a new school year with confidence.
