Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Knox counties for over 50 years, is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team at our Assisted Living Facilities located in Bangor, Camden and Millinocket. We offer flexible schedules to accommodate your needs and have a variety of openings that include:
Full time benefits eligible position – 36-40 hours/week (day, evenings, overnights & weekend)
Part time benefits eligible position – 24-35 hours/week (day, evenings, overnights & weekend)
Flexible per diem positions for all shifts, where you select what works for you.

Requirements include experience providing personal care to the elderly and a positive attitude regarding the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of older persons. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be comfortable using a computer to document in electronic medical records system, and utilize
e-mail and internet. CRMA or PSS certification preferred. Penquis provides paid training for all required certifications as well as on the job training and support. The starting rate of pay for CRMA/PSS is $15.25 per hour and additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience and certifications.
Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must have background check results that are satisfactory to Penquis and indicate no previous or current involvement with child abuse, neglect or exploitation and no other disqualifying background as outlined in current contract provisions.Apply Today
