Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Knox counties for over 50 years, is currently seeking a full time (40 hour per week/52 weeks) Weatherization Coordinator responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of Weatherization crews. To have a passion for helping building owners save energy, knowledge of key energy efficiency concepts, and have good building/construction knowledge.
Location: Bangor, Maine
Weatherization Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Supervise Weatherization Installers including hiring, training, evaluating, and managing performance, providing supervision and safety training according to agency policies and procedures.
- Assure all aspects of the jobs are completed with the utmost regard for crew and client safety.
- Coordinate work with Energy Auditors, clients, sub-contractors, inspectors and other involved parties, as necessary.
- Work with vendors for material and tool procurement.
Weatherization Coordinator Requirements:
- Associates degree and 2-3 years related work experience.
- Obtain BPI Building Analyst β Professional certification within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to provide adequate insured transportation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must comply with Penquis background check requirements with satisfactory results as outlined in current contract provisions.

Current rate of pay for this position starts at $20.34 per hour additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience.
